Gevalia Stir Mug
W: http://europe.nokia.com/6220classic
PRICE: TBA
COMMENT
Being lazy-arse gamers, we can’t be bothered to actually stir our hot beverage of choice. Not only does it take up valuable gaming time, but it requires actual physical effort to find a spoon. In any case, the point is moot because Gevalia now have a mug that does the stirring for you – all at the press of a button. It also keeps your drink warm for hours, thanks to the AAA batteries included. No more cold-coffee-while-playing-WoW experiences.

Nokia 6220 Classic
W: http://www.gevalia.com/Gevalia/catalog/product_detail.aspx?product_id=2240
PRICE: $18.95USD (may not ship to Aus)
COMMENT
Ask a sample selection of your friends what phone they have and no doubt a startling number of them have the Nokia 6120. It’s a good, solid phone, but the failure rate is pretty alarming. The 6220 Classic is, I can say almost without a doubt, going to be huge when it releases in Australia later this year. The Nokia ‘classic’ range is very popular because of its design and trusted brand name, but the 6220 is set to combine high-end features with old school aesthetics, all for a much lower price than, say, the N95. With a 5 megapixel camera, 128MB internal memory (with up to 8gig expandable memory), built in GPS (presumably Whereis Maps) and an impressive suite of office applications, the 6220 is going to be in a hell of a lot of hip pockets come the year’s end. Let’s just hope they fix the software issues previous models have had.
