 DYLAN BURNS
Editor - dylanb@pixelhunt.com.au

A words man with a penchant for pontificating about issues only he cares about. Pixel Hunt was conceived, written and produced beneath the iron will of this evil overseer – so be afraid…very afraid. It’s not all fire and brimstone, though; beneath that hard exterior and shockingly beautiful face beats the vulnerable heart of someone who secretly enjoys kiddy games. We’d laugh if he didn’t keep our passports locked up in his safe…
 MATTHEW WILLIAMS
Deputy Editor & Website - mattw@pixelhunt.com.au

Nobody really knows where or how the Williams boy came to be. We assume two very frisky cabbages rubbed themselves together really quick or something. Whatever the cause, this pure wave of terror has (for better or worse) been unleashed upon the world. Responsible for keeping the website ticking over and carrying out all the debasing tasks that Dylan and James don’t want to do, Matt’s inner beast is only just kept in check through the diligent use of slave labour and timely put downs.
 JAMES O'CONNOR
Deputy Editor & Contributor - jameso@pixelhunt.com.au

What can be said about James that won’t make him quit in a flurry of finger flips and death threat phone calls? Okay, we’ll have a go: James is the cheeky face of Pixel Hunt. Whereas every other writer slaves over their words and often submits them late because they’ve had to rewrite them seven times, James swoops in with a Rich Text document that he whipped up the night before…while drunk…on his mobile phone. And it’s often perfectly ready to be printed. Bastard.
 CHRISTINE FALK
Art Director - christinef@pixelhunt.com.au

The person most responsible for what you see, design wise, on the page, Christine is a real busy bee when it comes to whipping up finished pages. Known primarily for her repeated mantra that ‘white space is good’, she is the quiet achiever of the bunch. Christine’s also the most harassed staff member, as we repeatedly demand to see how our words are looking, and can she please put the captions in so we can all laugh at how witty we are.
 STEVEN MILICH
Website & Contributor - stevorooni@gmail.com

Or as we like to call him The HTML Slave Boy. Steven is the Swiss army knife of contributors, responsible not only for reviews, but for the creation of the website, the translation of the zine to html, and the getting of morning-break donuts. Seeing as we’re all spread out around the country, that latter task often turns ugly, particularly when James rings Australia Post and lets them know just how soggy his donut was on arrival.
 MATT DAVEY
Contributor - watchers_eye@thenintendobasement.com

Matt’s constant calls to get paid are often met with loud, denigrating laughs over the phone as the rest of us bathe in bathtubs full of precious jewels. But to his credit he still manages to pump out reviews with a minimal amount of complaining. If we did pay him, he’d probably get a big head, take to wearing a top hat and swiftly declare that he’s taking over the zine, effective immediately. So we like to keep him on a short leash and feed him table scraps.
 TIM HENDERSON
Contributor

A perfect example of the generous games journalist, Tim takes time out of his busy (paid) writing career to help make Pixel Hunt slightly better than That’s Life. We’re not sure if it’s because he contributes that drags us down, but when you’ve got some guy sending you submissions and threatening you with junk emails on how to make your penis last longer, you’re pretty much between a rock and a hard thing…
 ALEX WALKER
Contributor - alexdippa@gmail.com

And from the cold plains of nothingness came the soft, wet rains of a keen wordsmith willing to jump in, wrestle with crocodiles and attempt to dunk for apples – all for the coveted position as a writer for Pixel Hunt. Alex courted us for several days before we gave in to his unreasonable demands. Seriously, who needs a retainer that includes eight cans of apricot nectar? The mind boggles.
 JUSTIN MURRAY
Contributor

The ideas man. Not a day goes by that Justin doesn’t have a light bulb flash above his head, resulting in long, enthusiastic emails about some new section for the zine. Of course, most of these get deleted by the Official Justin Murray Email Filter, but every now and then, after he rings and demands an answer to an email we never read, we delve back through them and actually find a good idea…then we ask him to write it up.
